Meet Zeus – He’s a drone flying, cinematographer from New York that directs, edits, and color corrects his own sh*t. He is currently, local to Maryland but travels everywhere to do what he is passionate about.
You’ve no doubt come across plenty of cinematographers. Sure they can pick up a camera and shoot, but what sets Zeus apart is his desire to be more than just a “shooter”. He creates the story as it relates to your vision and is able to add that emotional connection during filming that helps the viewers to understand who you are and what your project is about.
Zeus’ approach to filming is to put a strong emphasis on story boarding, lighting setup, camera movements, and composition during the planning and filming process, so the editing process is simply a matter of enriching the cinematic footage into a perfectly curated final package. So many times, you see inexperienced cinematographers panicking to correct scenes during editing, that really could have been corrected while filming. Zeus’ motto – work smarter, not harder.
